Looking for a fun, confidence-boosting outdoor adventure for your child?

President's Day Camp at Windy Willow Equestrian in scenic Clarke County, VA, is the perfect place for kids to make friends, build riding skills, and enjoy hands-on time with horses!

Designed for boys and girls ages 6-16, our camp is a fun and safe introduction to horseback riding and horse care. Whether your child is brand new to riding or looking to refine their skills, our gentle school horses and experienced instructors ensure a safe, supportive, and exciting experience.

🌞 Morning Meet & Greet

Campers are paired with a friendly horse or pony to care for.

🐴 Riding Lessons

Tailored to each rider’s ability! Riders start on a lead line with an experienced instructor, learning basic balance, steering, and control. As they become more comfortable, riders may progress to independent riding at the walk and trot.

🎨 Equine-Themed Arts & Crafts

Creative outdoor fun inspired by horses!

📚Hands-On Horse Care & Learning

Kids discover horse anatomy, grooming, and stable management through engaging activities.

Camp Cost

Cost per camper is $180.

A $100 deposit is due at the time of booking. Your remaining balance will be due the week prior to camp.

Annual Registration Fee

There is a $25 registration fee per camper each year. Once paid, they are set for the entire camp season.

Payment Processing Fee

A 3% processing fee is added to each purchase completed online. Want to use a mobile payment option? Please text or call us at (540) 900-1929 to process payment.

Cancellation Policy

Camp registration fees and deposits are non-refundable. Any paid fees can be used during another camp week or applied toward riding lessons.

Aftercare is Available!

Aftercare is available from 3-6pm for $15/hour or $25/hour for siblings. Aftercare must be pre-arranged and paid for prior to camp. Once your camp is booked, please reach out to confirm your aftercare needs.

Things to Bring

Please pack a snack and lunch for your camper. Please also send them with a refillable water bottle.
